Click here to learn more about our Learn To Swim Framework.

The three core elements of our criteria are water safety, aquatic skills and stroke development.

Criteria

Water Safety

Our framework is carefully crafted to take and teach non-swimmers, weak swimmers and unaided swimmers how to become Safe Swimmers. Learn to Swim Water Safety and Survival Awards are embedded within our criteria to ensure that children progressively learn all the skills required to be safe in the water.

Water Skills

Our framework is carefully crafted to progressively develop the core aquatic skills and develop the key water skills required for all types of swimming which include club swimming, water polo, lifeguarding, and diving.

Stroke Development

Our framework is carefully crafted to progressively develop front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly taking into consideration the swimmer's ability to maintain the correct technique over a specified distance. We work closely with swimming club coaches and understand their expectations when swimmers trial at their competitive swimming club.
