Camper’s Code Of Conduct

At Water Creations Holiday Camp, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and positive environment where all campers feel valued, respected, and free to be themselves. To ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience, we kindly ask that all children attending follow our camp’s Code of Conduct.

Camper Expectations

We encourage all campers to:

  • Show respect to staff, fellow campers, and the camp environment.

  • Listen carefully and follow instructions from staff.

  • Use kind words and actions — bullying, teasing, or exclusion will NOT be tolerated.

  • Practice teamwork, share fairly, and include others in games and activities.

  • Take responsibility for their behaviour and belongings.

  • Try their best, have fun, and get involved!

Inclusivity

We celebrate diversity and expect all campers to treat each other with kindness and fairness, regardless of background, ability, or identity. Everyone is welcome at our camp, and we strive to make every child feel safe and accepted.

Bullying & Disciplinary Policy

We have a zero-tolerance approach to bullying. This includes:

  • Verbal bullying (name-calling, threats, teasing)

  • Physical bullying (pushing, hitting, excluding others from games)

  • Emotional bullying (spreading rumours, intimidation)

If any form of bullying or repeated disruptive behaviour occurs:

  • Verbal Warning – The camper will be spoken to by staff and reminded of expectations.

  • Reflection Time – If behaviour continues, the child may be removed from the activity to reflect and calm down.

  • Parent Contact – We will inform parents if concerns persist or serious incidents arise.

  • Dismissal – In extreme or repeated cases, a child may be sent home or removed from the camp with no refund issued.

We believe in guiding children with compassion and consistency, and we are always happy to work with parents to support their child’s behaviour at camp.
